Capital Campaign Comedy Show

Join us for a night of laughter and giving back! Come out to our Comedy Show Fundraiser, where all net proceeds will go towards Sherwood Elementary School’s Capitol Campaign Fund.

Reflections Arts Program

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝗪𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒! We are incredibly proud of these talented students for their outstanding achievements in the Reflections Arts Program:

𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 – Intermediate Literature, Award of Excellence

𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 – Primary Photography, Award of Excellence

𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫 – Accessible Arts Visual Arts, Award of Excellence

𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 – Intermediate Visual Arts, Award of Excellence

All four advanced to the district level, where:

𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫 won First Place (Overall Award of Excellence) and is advancing to the State competition!

𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 received the Award of Merit!

𝗪𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨, 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬! Their work (or QR codes for non-visual arts) will be displayed at:

Art Show volunteers are needed!

Last year we had over 700 student artworks displayed in the SWE Art Show! I could not have done it without my amazing volunteers. I would love your help labeling student work, mounting it onto black paper, and potentially helping paint a photo backdrop. Thank you so much for your help! We encourage all our students and staff to wear their favorite Astros gear this Thursday, March 27th in support of Opening Day for our Astros!

Create Fest 2025

Spring Branch ISD is hosting their annual Create Fest on Saturday, April 5th. Create Fest is a free event that has art competitions, a student business fair, and small art projects and crafts for students to participate in and take home. This is such a great event for your artsy kids to enjoy on a Saturday! I had so much fun exploring last year. Please see the attached fliers for more information.

- Create Fest art projects and crafts: for ALL GRADES! Even younger siblings that aren’t school-age yet can participate.

- Student Business Fair: 2nd-5th grade only (must sign up using the QR code on the attached flyer)

- Art Competitions: 4th and 5th grade only (must sign up using the QR code on the attached flyer)

El Distrito escolar de Spring Branch tendra su Festival anual de la Creatividad el dia Sabado, 5 de Abril. El Festival de la Creatividad es un evento gratuito que cuenta con competencias de arte, una feria de negocios para estudiantes, y pequenos proyectos de arte y artesanias para que los estudiantes participen y se lleven sus proyectos a casa. Este es un gran evento para sus hijos en el dia Sabado! Yo me diverti mucho participando el ciclo escolar pasado. Porfavor vea el triptico anexo para mas informacion.

- Festival de la Creatividad y proyectos de arte y artesanias: para TODOS LOS GRADOS! Hasta para los hermanitos pequenos que todavia no asisten a la escuela.

- Feria de negocios para estudiantes: 2nd-5th grado solamente (deben de inscribirse con el codigo QR que viene en el triptico)
